Our professional team can create shop drawings with installation details and assist in planning your window or door integration into your project. We work side-by-side with you, providing current and accurate information to help you expedite your project’s timely and successful completion.  

Wind Load Engineering

We provide engineering and calculate wind load pressures in order to produce accurate elevations and plans with the appropriate labeling as dictated by Code requirements.  

Permitting 

We prepare and file permitting packages in accordance with each municipality’s requirements. We work closely with the municipality to ensure that all permits are acquired and all inspections are performed in a timely manner. 

Installation, Service and Project Management

Building Inspections 

Every window or door installation requires review, approval and sign off by the municipality inspector. Each inspector makes sure that the windows and doors are installed in accordance with the proper Building Code and the Notice of Product Acceptance. The Shield team takes full responsibility for coordinating and passing these essential inspections.
