Single-Double Hung

A Single-Hung Window is a traditional style that features an operable bottom sash / panel that slides vertically, while the top sash is stationary. In some models the bottom sash also tilts inward for easy cleaning. Single-Hung Windows allow a large opening which offers great ventilation and a great amount of natural light into the home.

In a Double Hung system, both the top and the bottom are operable.
