Horizontal Sliding Window

Horizontal Sliding windows operating horizontally within a single frame, and a top and bottom built-in track. Typically, available in 2 or 3 panel models.  In some 2 panel models both sides can be opened simultaneously, allowing fresh air into your home.

In 3 panel models, the two ends are operable and can be ordered in equal-lite – 1/3-1/3-1/3 or in 1/4-1/2-1/4 configurations.  The unique feature of opening horizontally versus vertically, allows sliding windows to offer a larger opening.  The window panels move in front and behind one another and glide on rollers for a smooth operation that mostly involves little effort.

Some Sliding windows can be ordered in a Swing & Clean version for easier cleaning!  By unlocking a control latch, you can swing the sash inward and access it for easier cleaning.
